The seminar will be hosted by the Rhône-Alpes Pavilion at the Shanghai World EXPO 2010. The seminar aims to share the experiences and good practices of EU-China cooperation in the ITS field. The Viajeo project is co-funded by the European Commission DG Research under the 7th Framework Programme (FP7). The Specific International Cooperation (SICA) runs from 01/09/2010 to 31/08/2012 and has two demonstrations site in China: Beijing and Shanghai.
At the seminar, the Viajeo activities and achievements in EU-China cooperation will be presented. Good practice and experiences in EU-China technological cooperation will be shared. The seminar will bring together speakers with many years of experience in EU-China cooperation. Participants will also discuss future opportunities and strategies. Key note speakers include:
- Mr Frédéric Sgarbi, Head of Unit, DG Research, European Commission (confirmed)
- Mr Jean-François Janin, General Engineer, Ministry of Ecology, Energy, Sustainable Development and Sea, France (confirmed)
- Mr Philippe Caradec, Resident Director of ParisTech in China (confirmed)
- Representative from ITS China (to be confirmed)
